Pan-African DMPK Centre of Excellence Welcomes Dr Amr Singh to Drive Drug Discovery and Innovation

We are pleased to welcome Dr Amr Singh to the Pan-African DMPK Centre of Excellence family as Director of Research and Development (R&D), DMPK and Bioanalytical Chemistry (BAC), Genomics and Therapeutics.


Dr Singh is a strategic clinical pharmacology leader with expertise in developing improved structure–activity relationship (SAR) molecules that deliver appropriate pharmacokinetic (PK) profiles and strong pharmacodynamic (PD) effects, while minimising clinically significant toxicity.


His work has helped develop solutions for chronic diseases across academia and industry. He also brings a strong commitment to training, mentoring, and developing the next generation of scientists.


Dr Singh joins the centre of excellence with a vision to support the development of diagnostic tools and help build a leading drug-discovery hub in Africa. His expertise, leadership, and passion for scientific innovation will strengthen AiBST’s work in genomics, therapeutics, and biomedical research.
