WHAT WE DO

Four pillars carry the DMPK Africa story.

From ADME/PK services for live drug-discovery programmes to workshops that build the next generation of African DMPK scientists.

P

Pan-African.

A network of African institutions, scientists and labs working as one — not a single institution offering services.

K

Knowledge-sharing.

Members share publications, training, events, protocols and infrastructure access. The site is the meeting place.

P

Project-ready.

ADME/PK services for live drug discovery and clinical development — anchored in African biology.

T

Training-led.

Hands-on workshops, member courses and mentorship building the next generation of African DMPK scientists.

PART OF THE AIBST FAMILY

Hosted at AiBST. Sister to SPARK Africa.

DMPK Africa is hosted at the African Institute of Biomedical Science & Technology (AiBST) in Harare, Zimbabwe — alongside SPARK Africa and the wider AiBST research portfolio. The network draws on AiBST’s three decades of DMPK expertise and extends it across the continent.

OUR GROWING NETWORK

The continent’s drug-metabolism community, in one place.

Founding members and partners at the inaugural Pan-African ADME workshop. March 2025, Harare.
